Noah Falck is the Literary Director at Just Buffalo Literary Center. He is the author of Exclusions (Tupelo Press, 2020), which was the Finalist for the 2020 Believer Book Award, and Snowmen Losing Weight, as well as several chapbook collections including normal normal, Your Are In Nearly Every Future, and the collaboration (with Matt McBride), Prerecorded Weather (SurVision Books, 2022), Winner of the 2022 James Tate Poetry Prize. His poems have been published in the Kenyon Review, Literary Hub, Ploughshares, Poetry Daily, Poets.org, and anthologized in Poem-A-Day 365 Poems for Every Occasion (Abrams Books, 2015). In 2013, he started the Silo City Reading Series for Just Buffalo, a multimedia poetry event series inside a 120-foot-high, 100-year-old grain elevator.
Judy Slater is a psychologist in private practice in Buffalo. Her poetry has appeared in journals such as Prairie Schooner, Agni, Minnesota Review, and Passager. Ted Kooser featured three of her poems on his website American Life in Poetry. In 2011, Outriders Poetry Project published her book of poetry, The Wind Turning Pages. The World Imagined, a poetic memoir, came out in 2018 from Buffalo Arts Publishing.
