Frequently Asked Questions

Iโ€™m having issues with registration.

When purchasing a ticket, you will need to go to your cart and checkout via Paypal to complete registration. (Any free tickets are an exception.) You will have a limited amount of time to complete the transaction before the registration is cancelled.

Additionally, most workshops have a waiting list that you can sign up for in case it is sold out.

After completing sign-up, why didn't I get a confirmation email?

After signing up, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the email that you specified. If the workshop is hybrid or virtual, it will contain a Zoom link. If you don’t receive this email, the causes may be as follows:

  • Your ISP may be mistaking the email for spam (unsolicited email).ย The email may be placed in your junk/spam folder.
  • You may have made an error and entered the wrong email at sign-up time.
  • You may have not completed the transaction. Check your cart.

What form of payment is accepted?

We use PayPal, and you can pay with your PayPal account or any major credit cardโ€”even if you donโ€™t have a PayPal account. We also accept check payments. You can bring it with you in person, or you can mail a check to:

Just Buffalo Literary Center
468 Washington Street, 2nd Floor

What is your refund policy? What happens in the case of a cancelled event?

Due to limited space, there are no refunds. However, if the event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

Can I purchase my ticket the day of the event?

The cut-off for registration is at noon on the day before the workshop.

It's the day of the workshop and I am having a tech issue or a question. How do I get in touch?

You can text or call our Program Coordinator Richie Wills at (716) 400-0751 for assistance.
