Each year, Just Buffalo invites eligible writers to apply for two fellowship awards—the JB Poetry Fellowship and the JBWC Youth Fellowship.
Poetry Fellowship
Each year, Just Buffalo Literary Center invites adult poets of all ages and stages of their career to apply for its Poetry Fellowship, which gives one talented writer a cash stipend to live and write in one of the nation’s most vibrant literary cities, plus an opportunity to read at an event curated by Just Buffalo Literary Center.
JBWC Youth Fellowship
Each year, Just Buffalo offers a motivated young writer the opportunity to develop their craft and explore professional avenues within the literary arts. The selected fellow will work with a mentor, be encouraged to develop their unique voice as a creative writer and thinker, and present a creative writing project to be completed over the course of the summer fellowship.
