Bernadette Mayer Tribute: Community Reading

Join us for brief readings of favorite passages from Bernadette Mayer’s work by members of the community.

Bernadette Mayer (1945-2022) wrote over 27 collections over the course of her career including most recently Works and Days (2016), Eating The Colors Of A Lineup Of Words: The Early Books of Bernadette Mayer (2015) and The Helens of Troy (2013), as well as countless chapbooks and artist-books. Associated with the New York School as well as Language writing, her influence in the contemporary avant-garde is felt widely.
