Buffalo, NY 14203
Dates: January 22 & 24, 2019

Glimpse

During this workshop, student writers will use a glimpse of now, in the form of an instant photograph, as acting inspiration to create a micro-narrative snapshot (a nonfiction piece of 1000 words or less) of their past. The combination of the chosen photograph and their written work should reveal how the process of recalling memories is triggered by even that which we are not directly connected.

*No previous writing or photography experience is necessary.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at young students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
