Writers at Work is a series featuring professionals in the Buffalo community who visit the Just Buffalo Writing Center to discuss the role writing plays in their daily lives with JBWC’s young writers.

Our December guest is Marie Elia. Marie is the Processing Archivist for the Poetry Collection of the University Libraries at the University at Buffalo. She received her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh and her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. She is the author of a chapbook, Girlhood and Machines, (Dancing Girl Press, 2015) and an editor of The Reading Room: A Journal of Special Collections.

This discussion is FREE, aimed at young students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
