How can we express our gratitude? In a handmade journal of course! Learn about the art of bookbinding and work with a Book Arts teaching artist to up-cycle makeready prints and other handprinted ephemera into a dedicated Gratitude Journal, crafted by hand. No prior bookmaking experience necessary.

Grown Ups get together and talk about a book - in a children's bookstore. What could be better than that?! In June we are collaborating with Just Buffalo's In Gratitude project! In Gratitude is a city-wide reading and writing initiative designed to bring our community together. This project invites us all to practice “unabashed gratitude”—a concept inspired by the renowned poet and essayist Ross Gay.
