Our Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak
As a precaution to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and care for our community, Just Buffalo Literary Center has postponed a number of events, and we will follow the guidance of Buffalo Public Schools in terms of Just Buffalo Writing Center programming.
Season Subscription tickets are good for all four of the BABEL events at Kleinhans for the 2021–2022 season. VIP Patron Subscriptions & Tickets include preferred seating and access to a catered pre-event reception at Kleinhans, attended by the featured author. After each VIP Patron reception, all subscription and ticket holders enjoy an author lecture and an interview-style Q&A moderated by Artistic Director Barbara Cole, and may have their books signed by the author. Season Subscription holders will also have access to simulcast videos of all four BABEL events, allowing flexibility for ticket holders unable to attend in person for any reason.
Season Subscriptions are on sale through October 14, 2021.
$36 each (with valid student “.edu” email address)
Limit 1 subscription per user
Tickets will be available at the “Will Call” window at Kleinhans Music Hall when the doors open at 7:00 p.m. on October 14, 2021
In order to protect the health, safety and enjoyment of all, we are implementing the following COVID safety protocols:
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (Excelsior pass or vaccination card) is required for admittance.
A masking policy will be in effect for all staff, volunteers, and attendees at Kleinhans Music Hall.
A simulcast recording of the event will be provided to all ticket holders to watch from home, if unable to attend in-person for any reason; the link will be sent in advance to the email address used when purchasing tickets.
These policies are subject to revision as health and safety guidelines change, including a pivot to virtual-only. You will receive emails prior to each BABEL event to confirm our most up-to-date policies.
Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for tickets; if unable to attend in-person for any reason, ticket holders have the ability to access the event via simulcast recording.
Our COVID-19 vaccination and masking policies are aligned with those of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, with the additional steps of requiring vaccination & social distancing. More policy details can be found here.
