As a precaution to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and care for our community, Just Buffalo Literary Center has postponed a number of events, and we will follow the guidance of Buffalo Public Schools in terms of Just Buffalo Writing Center programming.

This teacher workshop series is aimed at school teachers and educators so they will have the opportunity to explore their own creative work, engage in ongoing conversations about process, and grow as writers. This workshop is FREE and limited to 10 in-person participants with the option to join virtually. CTLE credit is available through the Buffalo State English Education program.

Join us for a drop-in writing time in the newly-remodeled Just Buffalo Writing Center, facilitated by established writers from Just Buffalo. Just come ready to write. This adult writing workshop is limited to 12 in-person participants.

About the Teaching Artist JULIANNE NEELY received her MFA degree from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, where she received the Truman Capote Fellowship, the 2017 John Logan Poetry Prize, and a Schupes Fellowship for Poetry. She is currently a Poetics PhD candidate and an English Department Fellow at the University at Buffalo. She is the author of the chapbook, The Body Beside Herself (Slope Editions, 2018). Her writing has been published in Hyperallergic, VIDA, The Rumpus, The Iowa Review, and more. Learn More
