2026 marks a century since Robert Creeley's birth. On May 21 & 22, we're gathering to commemorate his life and work in Buffalo—the city he called home for over three decades.

Buffalo was not just where Bob lived, but where he listened, taught, walked, and wrote in company with a community that continues.

In honor of this momentous occasion, we invite you to share your memories & tributes—the Creeley poem that changed you, that time you’ll always remember.

Through this community remembrance project, your words will join others across time & place to honor the life lived here, among us. These offerings will be shared digitally as part of the Creeley Centenary celebrations.
