Zawadi Books and Civil Writes Project Present: Marvella Finds Her Magic, a reading by Annette Daniels Taylor

Annette Daniels Taylor will read from her new children’s novel, Marvella Finds Her Magic, on Wednesday, August 24 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Zawadi Books, 1382 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo, New York.

Marvella is an Afro-Latina who moves from Brooklyn to Buffalo because her parents are getting a divorce. Later Marvella discovers she can talk to animals! This is Daniels Taylor’s first children’s novel. The book targets ages 6-9 interested in mystery, animals, and magic!

Annette will also read from her latest Young Adult novel in verse, Shoot the Storm, a fictional story which explores juvenile justice though the eyes of Aaliyah, who lives on Jefferson Avenue. Both books are published by West44 Books.
