Spooky Storytime: Open Mic for Writers
Spooky Storytime: A writer’s open mic night
Oct 11th, 6-8 pm at Art’s Cafe in Springville
Have you written a scary story, a spooky sonnet, an eerie essay, a morbid memoir, or even a chilling chorus? Come share it with other writers at our first Writer’s Open Mic Night for the chance to hold the title of Scariest Storyteller. All writing forms welcome (plan to read for 3-5 minutes)!
Jolene Hawkins, author of the nonfiction books I’ll be Home for my Birthday and Secrets Buried: The Mysterious Death of Christina Jureller, and Robin Lee Jordan, author of the poetry chapbooks Morning Blessings and They Ate Each Other Up, will be featured writers.
