Robin L. Flanigan: 100 Things to Do in Rochester before You Die
Rochester is known as the cultural capital of Western New York because of its world class museums, music, and more. 100 Things to Do in Rochester before You Die is a local’s lowdown on what makes this place so remarkable no matter the month or the weather. With insider tips and suggested itineraries by subject and season, Robin L. Flanigan takes readers on a whirlwind tour―from the obvious to the obscure―of the place she proudly calls home.
Robin L. Flanigan grew up among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, and launched her writing career while living in a Baltimore graveyard. After pounding beats as a newspaper reporter for 11 years and winning numerous journalism awards, she started a freelance business and now produces copy for magazines, newspapers, websites, and marketing collateral. The author of M is for Mindful, a children’s book that pairs inspiring verses with vibrant, nature-based paintings, her essays have been published in various literary magazines and anthologies.
Robin will be in conversation with Writers & Books’ Director of Communications Chris Fanning.
