PRISM: Youth Writing Workshops (Fall & Winter 2024)

PRISM is a monthly creative writing workshop in collaboration with GLYS WNY, Teen Reality Theatre, and Just Buffalo Writing Center. All LGBTQ+ youth, friends, and allies are welcome!

In this workshop series we’ll invite you to:

• Express yourself freely with room to learn & grow
• Try new things
• Connect with peers
• Share your creations (if you’re comfortable)
• Explore the world and your place in it through writing

If you attend in person, JBWC doors open at 3:30pm. Feel free to drop in early to relax with a book, work on your writing, try a prompt, or catch up with your creative peers!

• The JBWC Creative Writing Programs for Youth are FREE and aimed at young students aged 12–18.
• This youth writing workshop is hybrid—you can attend in-person or from home!
