Kastle Brill is a poet, memoirist, fiction writer, artist, and editor, who has out two chapbooks: One Night Stands & Other Pieces of Time and The Head. She has been a co-editor of Earth’s Daughters magazine since its start. She is anthologized in Celebrating Western New York Poets (White Buffalo Publications, 2015). Her poems have appeared in White Pine Journal, Black Mountain II Review, Serendipity Arts, Poetry on the Bus, and Earth’s Daughters. Years ago she taught biology lab in Brooklyn, before she moved to Buffalo. She is also a retired environmental lawyer and was, until recently, a passionate tai chi teacher.
Bart White is the author of two poetry collections, the Pushcart-nominated The Faces We Had As Children (FootHills Publishing, 2014) and The Art of Restoration (Jules Poetry Playhouse Publications, New Mexico, 2022). Active in Rochester and Western New York’s poetry community, Bart is past president of Just Poets. He is at work on two books at present: Your Session Is About To Time Out, forthcoming from FootHills Publications, poems written during a six-month stay in Oxford, and Dear Lover, Soldier, Prisoner, Ghost, an anthology of epistolary poetry. He taught English years ago, but for the last 20 years he’s taught Spanish and French at the Harley School, a private educational institution.
