Let’s Make a Zine Together w/ Rachel Shelton of Mirabo Press (in-person)
During this workshop, Rachel Shelton of Mirabo Press will teach us zine & print-making techniques that we’ll use to make a zine together! This zine will pay homage to our concepts of home, the plants that surround us, and will draw inspiration from the poet Emily Dickinson’s process of writing on envelope scraps. BYOLAE! (Bring Your Own Leaves And Envelopes!) If you want. Or we’ll have some on hand for you to use.

Rachel SheltonFine Artist & PrintmakerRachel Shelton centers an experimental and process-based practice around printmaking, expanding into book arts, enamel, public art, and sculpture. She received her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and her MFA from SUNY at Buffalo. Rachel is also a Co-Founder and collaborative printer at Mirabo Press, a fine art printmaking studio in Buffalo, NY.
