Teachers Are Writers with Katie Naughton (Hybrid)

In collaboration with WNYNET, and the Buffalo State English Education program, Just Buffalo Literary Center offers this workshop series for school teachers and educators so they will have the opportunity to explore their own creative work, engage in ongoing conversations about process, and grow as writers.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at teachers, and limited to 10 in-person participants with the option to join virtually. CTLE credit is available through the Buffalo State English Education program.

  • COVID SAFETY: We’ll be following social distancing protocol and providing masks and sanitizer as needed.

    Katie Naughton is the author of the chapbook Study (Above/Ground Press, 2021). Her poetry has been published in Michigan Quarterly Review, Jubilat, poets.org, Third Coast, and elsewhere. Katie is the publicity editor for Essay Press, editor and project manager at the HOW(ever) and How2 Archive (launching in 2022), and founder of Etcetera, a web journal of reading recommendations from poets. She is a doctoral candidate in the Poetics program at SUNY – Buffalo and holds an MFA in creative writing from Colorado State University.
