Comics & Graphic Novel Meet-up
Let’s make comics, let’s read comics, let’s expand our understanding of what a comic can be together! Led by Program Assistant & alum Darren Cameron and JBWC Youth Ambassadors.
If you attend in person, JBWC doors open at 3:30pm. Feel free to drop in early to relax with a book, work on your writing, try a prompt, or catch up with your creative peers!
- The JBWC Creative Writing Programs for Youth are FREE and aimed at young students aged 12–18.
- This youth writing workshop is hybrid—you can attend in-person or from home!

Darren CameronWriter, Comic ArtistDarren Cameron is a fiction writer and comic artist with an interest in worldbuilding. He is an alum of the Just Buffalo Writing Center and now a Just Buffalo Program Assistant. He also has experience writing poems, short stories, along with scripts for student films.
