Agents of Change: Stories of Resettlement, Resilience, and Community in Buffalo

Join us for an evening of storytelling, learning, and connection.
This project celebrates the vital work of the five major resettlement organizations in the City of Buffalo—the groups supporting individuals and families as they rebuild their lives in a new home.
Learn more about what these organizations do, how they support newly arrived communities, and how you can become part of that work.

Hear Real Stories
Listen to the voices of recently arrived youth on the verge of graduation as they share:

Where they are from
Why they had to leave
Why they came to Buffalo
The challenges they’ve faced
The dreams and goals they carry forward

These firsthand stories offer a powerful look at the realities of displacement—and the strength it takes to begin again.

Be Part of the Conversation
This event invites you to:

Deepen your understanding of immigration and resettlement
Engage in meaningful, two‑way dialogue
Discover ways to support and advocate for newcomers in our community

Why Attend?
Because behind every statistic is a person—and every story deserves to be heard.
