The late writer Ursula Le Guin once said that “resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art: the art of words.” This workshop will give young writers a space to experiment and play with the many ways their words can improve their communities and change their world.
- Session 1 // “Public Artivism”
In this workshop, young writers will identify causes they are passionate about and work collaboratively to create stories, poems, manifestos, plays (and other genres!) designed to raise public awareness and stir the soul.
This workshop is FREE, aimed at students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
