Teachers Are Writers

In collaboration with WNYNET, Just Buffalo Literary Center is offering a workshop series for school teachers where they will have the opportunity to explore their own creative work, engage in ongoing conversations about process, and grow as writers. CTLE credit available. October’s workshop will be lead by novelist Gabriel Bump.

About the Teaching Artist

GABRIEL BUMP is from South Shore, Chicago. He was awarded the 2016 Deborah Slosberg Memorial Award for Fiction. He received his MFA in Fiction from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Gabriel’s first novel, Everywhere You Don’t Belong, was published by Algonquin Books in February 2020. He is at work on his second novel, The New Naturals, which is forthcoming from Algonquin Books.
