Lincoln Center Education’s Teaching Artist Development Labs foster a vibrant teaching artist community in which teaching artists serve as excellent resources for each other – sharing best practices, hearing stories from the field, and supporting one another in projects to encourage balance between teaching and art-making.

THE FUNDAMENTALS OF TEACHING ARTISTRY

An experiential and conceptual introduction to the fundamentals of teaching artistry, which takes a close look at connecting personal artistic practice to teaching artist practice; developing basic skills for effective planning and facilitation; gaining actionable insights into the field as a whole; and setting an inspiring and achievable trajectory for long-term development.
