Just Buffalo Writing Center
468 Washington Street, 2nd Floor
Buffalo, NY 14203
Dates: May 14, 16, 21 & 23, 2019
Time: 4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

You have an amazing idea for a short story or novel. Now what?
In this four-day workshop, students will spend time working on one project. On the first day, we’ll brainstorm story ideas and select one that you love. We’ll then spend the following classes adding to your brilliant ideas and forming a solid base for a longer project. The hardest part of writing isn’t always coming up with an idea. It’s often sticking with an idea until the end, making that great idea blossom into a full and complex piece. We will spend time each class reading published work, writing, sharing our progress, and helping each other work through difficulties. At the end of this workshop, students will come away with the right tools to write a novel or short-story collection.
*All skill levels are welcome.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at young students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
