The Inner Ear Reading Series poetry reading on Sunday April 28th will feature JENNIFER CAMPBELL and JOHN MARVIN.

JENNIFER CAMPBELL is an Associate Professor of English at SUNY Erie and co-editor of Earth’s Daughters. She was a finalist in the 2017 Fairy Tales Review Poetry Contest, and was awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities. She has published Driving Straight Through (FootHills Publishing, 2008), and Supposed to Love (Saddle Road Press, 2013), and is currently working on her third book of poetry, which features fairy tale heroines in the modern world, and has poems coming out this year in A Room of Her Own and Paterson Review.

JOHN MARVIN’s first career was public school social studies teaching and union activism. He retired to earn a Ph.D. in English at SUNY Buffalo, and become a poet and an independent scholar. He has published poetry in many of the usual suspects and been nominated 6 times for a Pushcart Prize. Altogether he has published over 200 poems in some 80 journals. Marvin’s prose has appeared in the James Joyce Quarterly, Hypermedia Joyce Studies, Pennsylvania English, and The Worcester Review. He has a chapter in the anthology Hypermedia Joyce. He has presented papers at conferences of the North American James Joyce Society, the Society of Art, Literature, and Science, and the New York College English Association.
