26 Jan Buffalo Corner Reading Series (04.22.2021) Timelines: 1a: Upcoming Events
Where: Online (via Zoom)
Date: Thursday, April 22, 2021
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Host: Buffalo Corner Reading Series
April is National Poetry Month. We invite EVERYONE to read a favorite poem WRITTEN BY SOMEONE ELSE. It may be a poem you remember from childhood or a more recent inspirational poem.
The co-hosts will call on anyone who raises a hand to read and briefly explain why they chose that particular poet or poem.
JOIN US TO CELEBRATE THE ART OF POETRY! It’s an opportunity to meet people and learn about new poets and poems—TO SHARE OR JUST LISTEN.
Please remember: JUST ONE. We have many people interested in sharing, so please limit your offering to a ONE-PAGE POEM AND BRIEF EXPLANATION OF WHY YOU CHOSE IT.
See the link on shirshalombuffalo.org or contact them ahead of time to be put on the contact list.
This event is hosted by Gunilla Kester, Irene Sipos, and Perry Nicholas.
