Prepare for Junot Díaz’s BABEL visit with Lorna Pérez. Pérez is an Associate Professor of English at Buffalo Sate College where she specializes in Latin@ Literature. A native of Northern California, she received her doctorate from the University of Buffalo in 2008. Her critical writing has appeared in the journals Ethnic Studies Review, The CEA Critic, Label Me Latina, Chicana/Latina Studies, The American Studies Journal among others, and her creative work has been published in elimae, The Mississippi Review, and Label Me Latina.
