On April 30, 2025, our season concluded with a visit from esteemed author James McBride, author of The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store.

We were so pleased local musicians connected to the University of Buffalo’s Department of Music were able to join James onstage. George Caldwell, Chuck and Preston Brown and vocalist Helena Lingaard enlivened his words with incredible music and contributed to a unique experience at Kleinhans Hall.
