17 Nov BABEL Event Attendee FAQs
We can’t wait to welcome you to BABEL on Thursday, Nov. 18, for BABEL: Chang-rae Lee. Below, you’ll find FAQs for event attendance.
What do I need to do or show to get in?
To get in, you’ll need your event ticket, proof of COVID-19 vaccination (Excelsior pass or CDC vaccination card), and photo ID. Remember to bring a mask, too! You must use the main entrance at Symphony Circle; the Pennsylvania Street doors will not be open.
What if I ordered tickets after Nov. 9th and they won’t arrive in the mail in time?
If you ordered tickets after Nov. 9th and your physical tickets have not arrived in the mail by event day, you will be able to pick up your tickets at the will-call table.
Where do I park?
Parking is free at the Kleinhans Music Hall parking lot.
Will there be books available to buy?
Yes! Talking Leaves … Books will be on-site selling books by our featured author (and all of this season’s BABEL authors!). A book signing will follow the event.
How do I watch the event from home?
Click the event link button at the top of your event confirmation email to access your private link. You can watch live at 8 p.m. EST on Thursday. If that time doesn’t work for you, the link will remain accessible for you to watch the recording at your convenience through 11/26.
When will I get my event confirmation email?
Event confirmation emails will be sent on Wednesday, Nov. 17, with an additional reminder sent day-of. The email will come from email@example.com, so be sure to whitelist that address so the email isn’t sent to spam.
I bought multiple tickets — how do I make sure the other guest receives an event link?
If you purchased more than one subscription or individual ticket and your additional guest(s) need the event link, fill out the form linked in your event confirmation email to add their email address to the ticket reservation.
Where is the event program?
The event program is digital this year! Peruse it here.
How do I submit a question for the audience Q&A?
To reduce person-to-person contact at the event and to allow participation by our at-home viewers, we are soliciting questions for the author in advance and inviting the audience to tweet or email questions live at the event (or from home). Submit in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, you can tweet it to @justbuffalolit or email it to email@example.com during the event!
If you have a specific question that isn’t answered here, you can always get in touch with us via the CONTACT page.
