Exploring film, photographs, even pop songs can help reinvigorate anyone’s writing. In fact, award-winning writer Tim Wendel believes that the storytelling techniques found in those forms, as well as diagramming quality writing, can elevate anyone’s work. His students have placed best-selling novels and nonfiction titles nationwide. In this fast-paced seminar, he will give you a crash course in how it’s done.

Born in Philadelphia, and raised in Lockport, NY, Tim Wendel is the author of Summer of ’68, Castro’s Curveball, Cancer Crossings, and High Heat, which was an Editor’s Choice selection by The New York Times Book Review. He currently works as writer-in-residence at Johns Hopkins University.
