As readers we often think of the critique as a tool for analyzing and deconstructing works of literature. Through various essays and texts from the classical period onward, scholars have set their aims at discovering and encapsulating the essence of what might make the books that we so avidly consume tick. But what happens when we turn the critique on its head and make it a literary form unto itself? In this workshop students will be taking a look at and building upon the work of Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges, who through parody sought to expose the often ruthlessly comical nature of criticism.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at young students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
