Pat Kewley is a writer, comedy performer, and comics creator. The bottom line connecting all his work has always been humor. In this workshop Pat will discuss examples of his own work and work that inspires him, share insights and advice about his process, and guide students with some of his own tips and techniques for generating ideas and inspiration. Participants will create their own content using prompts and activities geared towards taking a passing notion that might seem surreal, silly, or just plain strange, and learning how to flesh it out into a finished piece, whether it may be a performance, a comic, a comedic monologue, or something else.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at young students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
