Dates: April 17 & 19, 2018

This workshop invites writers, musicians, hip-hop artists, and anyone else to join us to explore the many pathways of composing a song through the examination of rhythm, melody, voice, lyrics, and composition. Each workshop will be led by a different Buffalo songwriter, lyricist, or musician.

Feel free to bring your instrument of choice, though no instruments are required.

Hussalonia is a “pop music cult” owned by Nefarico™, a soap company. It is largely the work of one, prolific, multi-instrumentalist, home-recording artist (known only as the Hussalonia Founder) who creates concise, literate, art-pop in the spirit of ‘60s beat and record-store-clerk-indie-post-punk-singer-songwriter-whatever-ness.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at young students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
