This workshop invites writers, musicians, hip-hop artists, and anyone else to join us to explore the many pathways of composing a song through the examination of rhythm, melody, voice, lyrics, and composition. Each workshop will be led by a different Buffalo songwriter, lyricist, or musician.

Feel free to bring your instrument of choice, though no instruments are required.

dev11n is a singer, songwriter, poet and Hip Hop lyricist from Buffalo, New York. She began writing in high school and continued her education at SUNY Fredonia where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Music Business. In 2015, dev11n released her debut EP #The11thHour which was soon followed by the release of her second EP #One in 2016. In addition to touring the East Coast, she has released several music and live performance videos as well as a docu-series called “I AM: dev11n” that gives viewers a look behind the scenes into her creative daily life as an independent artist.
