Dates: January 23 & 25, 2018
Time: 4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

This workshop invites writers, musicians, hip-hop artists, and anyone else to join us to explore the many pathways of composing a song through the examination of rhythm, melody, voice, lyrics, and composition. Each workshop will be led by a different Buffalo songwriter, lyricist, or musician.

Feel free to bring your instrument of choice, though no instruments are required.

Bryan Johnson is a self taught musician that has learned to play guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, and synthesizer and has been writing songs since age 14. He has been active in the Buffalo indie/DIY music scene for the last 7 years in various music projects.

This workshop is FREE, aimed at students aged 12–18, and limited to 12 participants.
