Poetry Reading and Booksigning by Molly Peacock Timelines: 1b: Past Events (Unseen Archive)

After a brief introduction and opening poems by Professors Wiley-Moslow and Nicholas, Toronto-based poet Molly Peacock will read from her newest book, The Analyst, in Gleasner Hall.  You can enter at the Youngs Road entrance of G Building.

Ms. Peacock’s new book of poetry, The Analyst, tells the story of a decades-long patient-therapist relationship that reverses after the analyst’s stroke and continues to evolve.  She is also the author of the best-selling biography, The Paper Garden: Mrs. Delany Begins Her Life’s Work at 72 (McClelland & Stewart in Canada, Scribe in Australia and New Zealand; Bloomsbury in the US and UK ). Beginning her literary life as a poet, she has published six books of poetry, including The Second Blush, and Cornucopia: New and Selected Poems.

A Buffalo native, Peacock was inducted into Kenmore East High School’s Performing Arts Hall of Fame in April 2017.
