A reading series highlighting the work of Buffalo’s next generation of literary voices. Featuring 2 young writers who are active in the Just Buffalo Writing Center community.

Hemingway L. is a quirky artist of many medias who has completed a novel and a compilation of poems, titled Tres Complique. Additionally, he is a practicing visual artist, Youth Ambassador for the Just Buffalo Writing Center, and plays a variety of instruments, including the electric bass in a band with no songs, called Gorilla Fish.

Jackie V. attends Erie Community College. A recent graduate of Hutchinson Central Technical High School, he writes poetry for fun. His work has been published WORDPLAY and focuses on silliness, joy, hope, and the pursuit of happiness. He is the author of Static Transmission, a handmade chapbook of poems.
