Come to the Just Buffalo Writing Center and hear the work of our members. This year’s genre is fiction and will be judged by LIT CITY’s own Eric Gansworth.

“I am delighted for the invitation to work with Just Buffalo for this program. My first professional reading ever was for a Just Buffalo event, and it is wonderfully satisfying to be at this other end of the process, welcoming another new writer into this supportive environment,” said Gansworth.

On this evening two awards will be presented:

  • A Judge’s Award, selected by Eric Gansworth
  • An Audience Award, voted on by the audience present for the reading

Each winner will receive:

  • A $50 cash prize
  • A gift certificate from Talking Leaves Books
  • Publication in The Public
  • A certificate of recognition from Just Buffalo Literary Center
