You are invited to Betty’s to discuss Dave Eggers’ A Hologram for the King in advance of his appearance April 20. Charles Hartney will be leading the discussion. He is an English teacher at The Park School of Buffalo, where he teaches AP English Literature and Composition in addition to elective courses on literature and philosophy; African-American literature; memoir, autobiography, and personal narrative; and the aesthetic of literary modernism. He is a graduate of Canisius High School, Canisius College (BA), and the University at Buffalo (MA) and a recipient of an Outstanding Educator Award from the University of Chicago.
